Great looking car, and awesome before/after pix. Priceless stuff.

image.jpg This is bitching ride! My 51 coupe is going to get painted soon and looking at your ride is getting me really exited about my build! I'm going to be ditching the spears, gravel guards and hood bird too. Any more up dates on this ride?

how many coils did you cut? I only cut half a coil and I'm running the fat man dropped up rights too but your sits a lot lower than mine

  7. Thanks man. I'm making some custom side trim for the doors and fenders. Kinda like the '52 style but shorter. I'm also putting a new motor, trans and rearend in it. The stock 216 was fun for awhile but it's getting tired now. Hopefully I'll get it done in time to drive it this summer.

  8. I think it was 1 coil. It's been several years since I did it. I also put in shorter bump stops.

That's too bad. I can see getting rid of the hood ornament but I have always felt that the other stuff was part of what gave these cars class and character.

Maybe the colors ain't everyone's cup of tea but good work is good work. The coupes are one of my favorite body styles.
Car looks sweet, can't wait to see more of it. Cesar
