Did I get this right they can from Wyoming, the state next to me, if you sell the cab what kinda price will you have on it. I wish I would have known about it I have enough stuff to rough a pickup together if I had a cab.
HEY BOB!!! Thanks for chiming in, I have very few friends in the Willys crowd, so i'm always happy to hear from you!! The "jigsaw" is VERY close to lighting up, most likely this week.
Hey durmyn29, Is there any chance you could lay the cab on it's back and take a picture of the floor so I can see what the mounts look like. I would really appreciate it I have a car frame that I want to use so I am wondering just where the cab will bolt to the frame. Thank You
I think you're greatly underestimating your popularity on the old list. One hell of a job you did sticking with the "jigsaw." Looking fwd to hearing it's fired up and under its own power.
I had a little bit of time today to pull, bend and hammer on the coupe. The floor is almost in it's natural place and the roof is getting it's shape back. If I keep working on this, I'm going to end up keeping it and build a hot rod.
It'll be damn hard to find coupe doors, so I'm thinking of using sedan doors but you can't use garnish on sedan doors. But then again, do I even need garnish? One good thing, at least I've already built a budget coupe, so hopefully this coupe will be a little easier?
Hey drumyn29, I was wondering if you will be using the upper shock mount in this picture since the drivers side is missing because I need a passenger side one. Maybe you would be interested in selling the one that is on your coupe frame. After viewing the picture closer it does look like the driver side shock mount is there, sorry, my mistake, but if you know where I can find a Passenger side shock mount, I need one.
Very cool, I just went out to the shop and double checked to make sure it is the passenger side that I need and it is. If the rivit's are still in it that would be great, then I can just weld the back side before I box that part of the frame, then it will look like it was never missing, if not, I can cut the other one free and bolt then both in. I have been looking for one for a while not easy to find, sometimes it's weird how something can be so hard to come up with. Thank you for your time, let me know how much and I will PM you my address, would a Postal Money Order be ok for payment. Tony/38 2 Dr Sedan
Great score for sure......I really liked the comment about getting your wife a new hair dryer from the sale of some of the parts. Me my self I like the way she drys it now. But I am just a dirty old man.
I hate when a car sits here for too long, I end up wanting to keep it. I pulled, tugged and pounded the crap out of it today!
That would make a mean gasser I think that I would call it 40 The Hard Way or Swiss Cheese. You did a great job straightening it and it's looking way better.
This one's in better nick, than what Jim Sibley started with. Those bullet holes are going to take some fixing.
