Great minds think alike! Got it when I was 10 and built this with my dad when I was 13 had it done at 16 and drove it as a daily for 10 years rain snow or sunshine! Love me an f100

  2. Good memories for sure. I've owned at least one and sometimes 3 at any time since my first back in 1966. I don't have any photos of my Current one together due to Life's Changes but here is one of a short while back. This was when we Fired the fresh Bullet back up. 53 F-100 3-19-10 006.jpg
Those 3 helpers are old local Legend's and close Friends. I'm driving the Camera. It's made some progress since the photo shoot but not enough. I'm trying to get it off to paint next. Here is a side shot 53 F-100 3-19-10 007.jpg

Blue will keep some ties to the way it looks now. I think of it as a blue when I'm away from the HAMB already, cool.

Well I have been slammed with school but it's over in two weeks so I have been getting out to the garage every once in a blue moon. However I finished the primary wiring and fired it up. But I am to dumb to upload a video any help would be apreciated.

  13. I love this roadster, especially the long wheelbase… it oozes character.

I'm not the best photoshopper, but here's a quick rendering with a hood for you…

  14. With my kustom glasses on right now it's screaming to me with that hood, give me a 34 grill. The profile "channeled, chopped, wheel base stretched layed back windshield and the badass/crazy looking top. a 34 grill would just give all those sweeping lines great character. Well a 34 grill and hood I should say. I also feel she was meant to be without a hood so I still say just run her as you found her. And keep the blue. Bitchin hotrod no matter what you do though.

Unless my eyes deceive me the grill is higher than the cowl. A hood is going to look weird going downhill towards the cowl.

It looks way more bad ass without the hood.

Ya I am dropping the grill down. I pulled it into the garage by its own power last night! Pretty epic day for me! I looked around no one to celibate with me except old Merryl Hagard on the stereo lol

Hi Birddog...I took some artistic liberty on the 34 hooded version by Kiwi and put a 34 grille based on Paintslingers screamin vision...It really doesn't look to bad. The hood top and sides would be punched full of lines of louvers. I don't think the curved hood side louvers work with a 32...I also threw on some custom grille guards kinda like the old jalopy racers had and the 34 inner fenders add a unique aerodynamic touch too...
Anyhow I do agree with the others that the open hood with the Deuce Shell/grille (with a drop to level) kinda just works so well with the beast. Enjoying your build thread. Stogy

Your welcome...Like the others say git er on the road subtle changes by an by. Grille height yeah thats kinda obvious but not so much without the hood.
I often think of hooding my Hotrod and it could do dual duty depending on my mood. You have to consider the covering of the visual canvas that is the engine bay and the trimmings. There are pros and cons
You have made a lot of change already...the 53 it was easier to skirt it then do the tire. Gotta go keep up the good work.

  29. I too like the 32 lowered grill. It does look crazy with the 34 grill though. With That said it does kinda make it look to much like a 34. Iv seen a few 32 grills totally reworked to peak them and also make the bottoms follow the same angles as a 34 sweep. I like the idea of just dropping it and bangin gears. Any way you go bird it's one hell of a hotrod. What you do to it is what makes her yours.

20160513_145412-2.jpg Now that school is over I been slamming on the Old Devil! I took it out for its first ride around the neighborhood! It was like driving in a time machine. The only way to describe it is it had soul!
