Always had dragsters, this is my first altered, (byproduct of a short garage). I would support a true nostalgia altered group hilltown-1.jpg

I'm still working to get mine as close to this as I can. If you have any info on the car please chime in. Just love this one.

My first altered looked just like that minus the blower. Same color and everything. Even had a Black tonneau cover. It was Cody Parr's old car called the Apache.

I agree. Not my jelly roll. The car itself is hella cool. Not being able to race because your computer is fried is a bummer . When the car " pedals " itself for ya well ummmmm. That's modern racing though. I've seen a lot of engines (Pistons) torched from the nitrous when all the kits came out. Guess you need a computer to run em. All modern OT shit aside this is going to be a neat car. Can almost fit it in the back of your pickup truck

Great thread guys. You have some incredible machines to enjoy. This car had a big impact on me growing up. I understand that it is a street car now but no one has seen it in years. It was a BB/A winner at Indy in the early 60's under the ownership of Miller and Gregory. It had a long competition history but special for me as it gave me a first hand look at altered drag racing.
