My name is Barney, I live in Florence , Oregon. I've been a member of the HAMB since 2008. Last Jan. I traded for a 1950 ford Ute from Australia & am trying to find any of its history. I have traced it back to Oct. 2009 , where it was purchased at Bernie Zieminski's collection auction in Medford , Oregon. It has a vin. - modification tag on the left side of the firewall from Queensland , Australia dated July 2000. When bought in 2009 it had a 351m ford engine & c6, it has been chopped, wheelwells restyled, tailgate filled, converted to left hand drive, Toyota front clip, 9" ford rear end, Hard tonneau w/ wing, etc. Does anyone from here or Australia remember this car or know the builder ? The body work is very well done. It now has a twin turbo SBC w/ twin turbos chuck 3.jpg chuck 7.jpg & fuel injection. Thanks , Barney

Are you planning on 'de-street rodding' it?

Can you post a photo of that blue 'Qld' modification tag, it may help.

No idea, since they have different models than we have here, I needed a idler arm & matched it up in Napa online parts catalog. That was 78 Toyota corona 6 cyl. 4 dr , rotors are 5 lug pickup. It is from a full size Toyota, not a subcompact like we're used to.
