This car is so clean... Can wait to see it tomorrow.

  10. Looks like you're ahead of schedule! I wasn't sold on retaining those hood sides when you started the project, but now that its done I love them. They really make the car. Has Mr. Eastwood seen any pictures of the car recently? Job well done! It turned out killer!

  11. Thanks Guys!!

El Hueso, I totally agree with you on the hood sides and if I was building the car from scratch I would have never built sides like them. I thought keeping them was important to retain part of the cars identity and history and I think the subdued color dumbs them down enough. I really dig the hood top and sides now and glad I kept them. Pete saw a couple pictures of the car on our company Facebook page and said "looks great". I am really proud of the car and appreciate the compliments and input!

    And knowbody even cares... :)

    Bitchin roadster... fantastic work.

  19. The color is very different yet quite suttle. It will however make a great difference when it's among other cars.

  20. Thanks, I was going to originally paint the car black but I thought the tunis grey would be elegant and make the car more identifiable. Don't get me wrong, I still love a black 28/29 roadster!

The reddish interior really pops when you see it outside.

  22. Thanks, I hoped for the interior to be a little more dark maroon but I think the color pops pretty good.

Love it but the lights are lying.

  27. Yeah, lights make it almost look black.

    Almost black!
If I hadn't known better, I'd have thought you changed paint color to black since your last post, I had to go back and look to see if I had dreampt seeing it in grey body color.
    Again, great job.
