I started building a car last year Oct 2014. It was an old car build that I found from Craigslist. It had a gas welded chop and filled roof with nice original panels , doors , quarters and wheel wells. Model A frame set up for a typical SBC and a Vette rearend ( haha. )

Just trying to figure out how to use this app.
I can load pics of the build. If y'all are interested in it.

51 Lincoln flathead with a hydro. Placement was a little tough with this small frame and a 845 lbs motor.

Interesting choice for a flathead, they were also in the F6 trucks. Not a lot of parts available. Going to take a lot of cutting on the firewall, the engine needs to go back a couple of inches to clear the radiator if it is in the stock position or lose the fan mounting and the double hole bracket on the frame is right in front of the door post. Will require moving the firewall back almost to the door post to clear the distributor and fuel pump.

    Is that a 337? BEAST!

How did you go about the dimpling on that tubing for your X member? I like how you did that.

Patmanta yea. It's the 337 cid. It was just drilling and dimpling. Pretty simple. Just time consuming.

I showed my nephew how I wanted it , he did the rest of the holes and dimples.

Basically the ends and outs of the floor. Straight forward and simple. Clearing the big Lincoln motor and hydro was the only issue.

Damn I've driven over bridges that weren't as stout as that subframe. I'll be watching this one close to see if I can pick up some pointers for mine.
