I would end the word with -ito if you were looking for a way to say little. And remeber, adjective comes after the noun "el verde bastardo" would be "el bastardo verde" if I can still recall those hazy spanish classes.Fumar mas mota a las luncho

Driving across the Imperial Valley near El Centro one night, I found this cool Mexican radio station that played great '50s rock and roll. It was kinda different hearing the DJ and commercials in Spanish in between Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and such.

For those of us who aren't well versed in Spanish, how about something that is more universally translated? And which can be adapted with artistic license.

    %#@&*!~#?!!##*

This can be interpreted as, or offered as a response as in; " Your Mama!"

Or, as a challenge to accomplishment: " Anyone can raise one of those shit-boxes, try lowering it six inches."

Or it can be used to enlarge your circle of acquaintances as in; "Hi little girl, would you like a candy bar and your picture taken?"

I'm ambivalent about lettering a name on my car but I am willing to display my forvorite bumper sticker; "Win a free trip to a motel. Ask driver for details."

    salmuera caliente - hot pickle

I like it! Do you mind if I use it? It's perfect. If I can hook up with my Dune Buggy guy and get this thing going soon, I'll post some pics. Why a dune buggy? It's gonna be so cool and a cheap, cheap, fun car FIX while I collect parts for the model A.

Can't wait to see the pix.

  23. What's Spanish for 'Mouldy Taco'?
I'm a big fan of Burrito's Verde but that doesn't fit so well.

You could definitely have fun with the Hot Pickle artwork.

    - Hey Jimmy- you might want to check with a "real" Mexican before you go pintura loco on your truck... the Babelfish for salmuera is "it gets sick of too much salt" (Bonneville?) which sounds like the way that they make pickles... so it might not really mean pickled cucumber, it might mean the act of pickling.

either way, the logo for the "hot pickle" will be cool.

I wish they had a station like that here. You would think so. There IS one that plays old school Mexican tunes though, I've been promising Norwell some recordings of it. That's what we listened to the whole time he was here.

"Esta aqui, el Sabado de los, Sex Pistolas!!"
Mike, was it SCTV with the Mexican DJ? ...or maybe Fridays?!

Uptown Joe, I can think of any number of Genuine Mexican friends I can ask. It would be horrible if it translated into "making hot pickles" or something like that.

    Aye aye aye, stupeed greeengos!!
