I like these old motor Age covers ! that's me on the bicycle and in front of Dads 57 Chevy.

 

The "Levines" store in the foreground was still in operation when I lived in Lubbock about ten years ago. Pretty cool photo thank you for sharing @RedlandMaggie.

 

My grandmother worked at Levines as an alterations lady for ever (over 20 years for sure ) . Was there another store in a shopping center over by the college? I believe that tall building got hit by the Lubbock tornado .

I was just reading about B-52s on Wikipedia and found this interesting.

B-52H (AF Ser. No. 61-0023), configured at the time as a testbed to investigate structural failures, still flying after its vertical stabilizer sheared off in severe turbulence on 10 January 1964. The aircraft landed safely.

I have never seen Roy Rogers with a mustache, however the bad guys he always beat up and arrested, usually wore one.

 

Norman Jeane (marlyn) got this while going to Korea with the USO to entertain troops. funny what you remember from pawn stars star's rambling on. Someone tried to sell one of these on the show.

 

Spot the oddball: '53 Chevy 150 (small back window) with 210 side and window trim. Factory upgrade or dealer add-on?
