    Thanks for that info. They were posted on a facebook site but without photo credit. Great shots for sure.

  2. Hey, Dennis, did they mention were these were shot at? Looks like the same track with that checker'd barn in a lot of the backgrounds...

    That really looks like the tree at the long gone Dover Drag Strip in Wingdale N.Y. Saw it in person many times. It also shows up in some of the George Klass photos.

    Thanks to Tommy and Mr Pruden and especially Lynn Woodbury. I hope we will be able to see any other pictures that he has. It is great to see someone had the foresight to record this history. I recognize several of the cars and they certainly bring back good memories.
