And?? There has to be more to this story. Did they have a gas fire while filling it up?

Hard to read but it looks like D/G to me. From tommyd again in the drag cars in motion thread.

Yes, they ran D/G a lot. They ran at D42 and other NE Ohio tracks for the most part.

Took a couple pics with the front end raised a bit...actually only about 1/3 of the total possible extension. Want to eventually raise the rear & radius the rear wheelwells, maybe even flair them a bit.

Hey Dan. See your moving right along as usual. Looks good and will look even better with the rear jacked up a bit. I like the look that Scott has going on his new coupe. I used to like the flared look better, but this look has grown on me.

Had to add some more bars for the cert. and the Transmount is in, More bars to go. Then we'll get the chassis painted and install the new Silver Flaked gelcoat body.

So have you chosen the color yet? And wondering if it would it be possible to clear-coat the silver ? Just thinking out loud.

The red candy you see in the pic is the color I am having put on my silver body, And yes you can clear the gelcoat but after buffing the gel it really doesn't need it.

Wow, that brings me back to the late 60s. Lots of Metal flake during those years.

Steve Norton just sent me these pics today. They just finished the roll bar in his 1956.
Looking good Steve. One more step in the right direction.

Looking good. Nice and bold building it with the Top cover now permanent. Be sure to weld on seat belt tabs. Roll bar or show bar??
