I found this thread on the AACA forum I thought I would share with you all, especially you model makers. I had posted on the MD HAMB and thought it would be injoyed on the main board. This thread was started 6 years ago and it is still not finished. This car is Amazing!!! http://forums.aaca.org/topic/145354-construction-of-a-continental-mark-ii-model-scale-112/page-1
Roger's a great guy too. He's a member of the Eldorado forum and he has helped a ton of owners with their "real" cars. He's done some other small scale cars as well. Neat stuff!
Been following it for over a year. The guy is a genius. I play with some model making but he leaves me standing. A few of the T I started on years ago.
BTT for the evening crowd that may not have seen this incredible build. He is installing the power windows! http://forums.aaca.org/topic/145354-construction-of-a-continental-mark-ii-model-scale-112/page-1
I thought I would bring this build around again since Roger has a vidio of the working power windows and power seat. https://youtu.be/bZve6r3RwuU
Thanks Alex for sharing the video. Roger's skills and attention to detail are impressive. TEB Sent from my SM-N920V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Roger,s Continental is finaly finished and you will have a dificult time telling the diference from the real thing. Here are some photos from mycloud. https://www.mycloud.ch/l/P00BF517DEBF2C9CBD0035DF126D4B83DA36666BCFEBAAB0C28EACB3A40B70E4
Always makes me wonder if there will continue to be people with these skills in future years. Amazing dedication and patience.
I was watching this build a few years back on scalemotorcars.com. The guys on that site do some great stuff, but this guy is beyond what mortal man can do.
There is a guy doing a large scale model of the Ivo four engine dragster. He has been posting on the tread Replica of the Ivo's Showboat dragster If your into Hot Rods and Drag cars you should check it out. Just like this guy he does amazing things in miniature
