Here it is with the panels painted black, under coated and screwed in. I'm going to do a plywood raised floor and stain and seal it and throw some false metal strips on it. Easy and quick

Good deal! I have to check that out. I've really been wanting to do the swap on my daily 68 f100 also.

Wel I've really been getting after this truck lately it's pretty much done in my eyes. All that's left is installing the door runs ,vent window rubbers, and side glasses. Here's a pic of the finished bed floor.

I'll need to get another pic with the tubs installed but they turned out great. Ended up using an old tool box lid to cover the hole. Added some hinges and some small gas struts and it was good to go(good enough for an old shop truck)

I think the truck turned out great in my eyes, didn't want anything to perfect. After owning my 54 caddy and painting it shiny, it's really a bad idea if you have kids. They can have fun with this one with no worries if it gets scratched or scuffed up. They have had a blast so far! I sprayed the whole truck with rust oleum primer tinted to match the factory paint scheme of course. I added some fauxtina most will hate on this site but it was my truck and my call, so nay sayers need not reply. The truck drove outstanding!!!! Plenty of power from a stock 302 and the" free" FMX trans shifts great. I was really satisfied with the jag ifs too it rides awesome and even stops good with just a manual booster.

    Thanks man!

  12. Good job finishing it up. You did similar to what I did on my 52 GMC for the bed. Used plywood and put the strips on top of it. It works good for me so far, and should be good for you.

  13. Truck looks awesome man. The bed floor turned out good too. Congratulations

Matt, any feedback after racking some miles up on the pick up? I'm well on the way with my 59 & was curious to here! Cheers from Aussie
