Nice pix Mike, especially that last one of Angels Flight, was that 1969??? It looks as though the buildings were already removed and only AF was left???? The Victorian survives on Carroll Ave in Angelino Heights.

Isn't that the Micky Thompson entry behind the Lotus?

X-Racer, that might actually be a Lotus 25. Lotus did some early testing with their F1 car using the Coventry Climax engine and those headers look like the same as they ran in Formula One. And if you notice the suspension doesn't appear to be offset like it was on the 29. It's really hard to say because other than a difference in wheelbase the 25 and 29 were very similar.
BTW, Gurney in the Lotus is being followed by Masten Gregory.

    Indyrjc,
The Lotus 25 Climax never ran 8 stack headers, always a bunch of snakes ending up in two tail pipes. The Team Lotus only ever once ran 8 stack headers at the 1962 Monaco GP in a BRM-engined Lotus 24. The early version of the "29" did not use offset suspension as the preliminary testing in Europe was carried out on road tracks in England before being shipped to Indy when the suspension was subsequently changed to the offset version
