I went to see Larry this afternoon. He is dealing with pain and discomfort but that didn't stop him from teasing his nurse, who is an excellent nurse but didn't get his sense of humor. When she finally figured it out, she teased back. He had me laughing the whole time. He told me to be sure and tell everyone on the HAMB how much he appreciates all those who are remembering him and to let everyone know he is doing good. He gave me thumbs up for all of you. He also said he has to get out of the hospital because he has a '32 Ford pickup to build! He is good friend and a good guy and we are blessed that he hangs around here. Now, we're all "waiting patiently" for him to get back on his feet and back to doing what he enjoys doing! (P.S. his sister is taking care of his cat, for those who asked)

Great news, I'm hoping that there is a favorable report from the surgery and all that is left is to heal and get back to it.
Hang in there Larry and God bless the nurses, when I had my hospital stint I had some great nurses who made it a lot easier.

Like everyone else, I am "patiently waiting" for updates and a speedy recovery for the man but I am checking this thread so frequently for more news that some might say I need more practice with that "patiently" thing!!

Just in case some of the Newbies on here don't know how or why Larry became "3wlarry", I thought I would post this even though it's no longer in his fleet. When I think of Larry, I think of this.
