    Last Weekday before the swap!
    I'm getting pretty excited about packing up for it, even with the rain this morning I was too busy trying to figure First In Last Out / Last In First Out type stuff to notice the weather... too busy staring at my empty truck. I am glad I sprung for a nice new canopy though!

    Let's do a roll call here, so far we've got
    @Robert J. Palmer in #14
    @BOSTONCAMARO in #86 (behind me and one spot down)
    @patmanta in #140
    @mike bowling in #150

    Who else?

  2. I will have parts related to early drag car, gasser type stuff: muncie and borg warner 4 speeds bellhousings vontage gauges cross ram intakes for sbc and bbc valve covers including some early offy J2 olds type and more

    Well, I'd expect there to be enough Big Ears there for it to make sense ;)

  5. Pick-uped a cold, came home early from work to get some rest.
    Going to load the truck, and head out 7:00 A.M. in the morning.
    I need to pick up some parts for wheeldog57 here in N.Y.

    Thanx again Robert! I couldn't wait so I loaded the truck today. I hope they don't call me into work tomorrow! I did not pre-register so I will be wherever they put me. I will be the tall, goofy guy with glasses-I will be giving away free magazines. A mixed bag of items: 36-37 banjo rear, truck 4speed w/ reverse lockout, 57 chevy stainless and garnish moldings, atlas alum mags, new bias plys, sbc 1.94 heads, alum intake, holley carb, pulleys, mounts, 1970 mach 1 hood, and the mystery cowl! SEE YOU THERE!

    You got a good eye, Mr. Pitman!! I didn't think Carleton would mind if I " borrowed" his yard to make a point! That's what everyone's idea of landscaping should be! I used to go up there on a Sat. morning, check in at the trailer or "doodlebug" shop, and spend the day wandering around and making a pile of neat stuff. ...........Need a door? (or at least the top 3/4 of one!) Camera 2-20-09 064.jpg Same with Al Goldberg's in Newburyport (" We're on the hill, but we're on the level!"), and Donny Savory's on Rt. 1A in Rowley. Real junk yards run by real characters, but what great places for a kid to hang out. ( Even 50+ year old " kids")

    As we speak...the Great Randini is re-creating the bottom 3rd...
    of a '32 3W! :eek: I suspect he'll show.
    I shall send him a "shrubbery" and see if he might post a pic

  18. What a great day, almost didn't get in as they sold out of spaces luckily i found some room at the end of the runway. No luck finding a rear fender for my 40 ford coupe but i did find some running boards for my daily driver truck and sold parts i didn't need.

    Anybody else get a sunburn or is it just me?

    Had a great time tending my little museum & meeting you guys. Not sure when or where the wife n I will vend next. The teuck is still packed though since sunburn makes me lazy.

  21. Nope, I came home with a sunburn too, made it worse today by tacking with no helmet at work.

    I think I will change the title and reuse it next year!

  24. I had a good time, but all I brought home was a sunburn. We rode up in my friends red 55 F100. We got there just before 7:30 and there was already a giant line.

    We got our mailing but I haven't sent it back yet. I'm pretty sure we're plannin on it. I don't remember what spot # we had last year, but I recall it was a decent spot in the middle and we had @BOSTONCAMARO right behind us to the side.

    Hi Robert,
    Please tell me about the Burnt Hills swap. Is it mainly antique or hot rod stuff? It's a long ride for me.
    Thanks, Bruce
