    Thanks guys! Lots of work to get to here. Think I might be putting a 4" drop axle in it,when all the springs go in I think it'll be too high in the front. But other than that I think it's gonna work out pretty good.

    this is my 32 . it was stored for years in a barn the next town over. i tried to buy it for years and finally bought it about 8 IMG_1482.JPG years ago. it has a 296 flathead with a 26 tooth trans. and a 32 rear. its painted a 53 olds color [garnet red] thats still good since the fifties. its the nicest driving 32 i've ever owned and the quickest

    Well....a friend of mine has a 2-door just like yours.....and I MEAN just like yours.....in fact I always thought you were using his as your Avatar....! I have one with a sunvisor.

    Working on this one, i got my spring eyes reversed( not on this pic) and waiting for my rear axle wich is getting rebuild at the moment.
    It runs the banger now and will for this year, i am collecting parts so next winter a flatty with 39 bow and juice brakes and the we will see what to do with the body....... chop or not.

    Update,just about ready to pull it all apart for body work,thinking black epoxy primer this year. Any other suggestions?

    Ouch! What sucks is I've loved the maroon for a long time. It's such a difficult place to be... not wanting to use your favorite color cause everyone else has.

    Hehehe,yep I've always liked the 40 mandarin maroon,but everyone is using it,but I guess everyone uses black too.

  23. Started this 1 just 3 weeks ago, had all parts in the shop B4 started.
    went from bare chassis to this in 3 weeks.
