That "57 Buick hearse" is just some cobbled together leftovers. 56 Chevy tail lights and bumper, Late 40s Buick "fadeaway" fender extensions, early 50s Buick front sheet metal, and all sorts of mismatched trim. The "tailfin" pieces look to be old JC Whitney add-ons. The curved glass on the top is yellowed like plexiglass and that flat glass on the rear door probably leaks a tad. Still sad to see it sitting and rotting.

  10. I pulled the 352 interceptor engine from this 59 in the 60,s. put it with a stick trans in a 56 htp. 485.jpg

    That hearse was saved, but I don't know the rest of the story.
    Saw it somewhere on here with photos of it being flatbedded.

    Man...... That thing looks very "Dry" and rust free.
    It also looks very complete and not picked over, if someone wants a Moredoor Family Cruiser this looks to be a great start. :)
