Thanks , "Madfish", I think the simple approach is what I'm after ( and with the baby moons, it needs trim rings!)------ ( wait what happened to simple? LOL) And a hood top!! (nice touch) AND you blacked out the 4 bar set up; you are all over this thing! The more I look, the more I see.

I probably threw "Moose " off with my attempt to explain vocally what I'm trying to visualize.

My thanks to both of you; you guys provide a really cool service to help us all muddle through this stuff.
(But now, looking at the lighter color and adding the hood top to THAT.......)

I know it sounds silly , and a lot of work, a friend of mine when chopping his coupe, took the rear side window from one side to the other. No one noticed 'cept crazy Model A coupe people.
Visualize it and you will see the difference.. Its neat.!!:D

A friend of mine (who is an unbelievable body and paint guy) talked to me about doing just that. He was doing a heavy chop on another A coupe and figured by reversing the 1/4 windows and flipping them UPSIDE DOWN, they wouldn't look as distorted once cut. Sometimes with a heavy chop they tend to look "pointed" where they meet and have to be pie cut and undergo some major dicking around to look right. ------- Here's a picture of John's coupe, painted 17 years ago!! Flat out GORGEOUS!! ( the picture doesn't do it justice, but you get the idea - all steel!)

"Moose" and "Madfish"- you guys are coming up with some excellent ideas! I like the darker green top a lot. AND I like the lighter color WITH the hood top- really pulls the car together. And "Verde742", thanks for your input.
AND "Nitrobrother", those wheels are temp. till suspension gets re-worked. Thanks.

I may have to buy another car to do BOTH!! Thanks again. Mike

If that's directed to me, it's nice , but not where I'm headed- I picked up some color chips today and taped them to the visor. I like things pretty "simple".
Leaning heavily toward the darker green or black roof , Camera 2-20-09 143.jpg and throwing the 1/2 hood on.I owned this car 12 years ago, sold it, and bought it back last fall. Unfortunately it got chopped ( badly) and had some other things done that I'm "reverse engineering".
This is what it looked like when I had it before- 4 year build; everything was redone.

  11. Can someone please help me out with photoshopping this truck from two angles? My friend is thinking about making a hood (no hood sides) for his truck to give it better flow and to keep most of the rain out :) Thanks!

also put a front end in it that moves wheelbase ahead about 10 inches.. instead of spring ahead of axle, put it behind it..

KILLER THREAD!!! Could someone help me out with this one. I am converting a 1952 Ford School bus into a motorhome with a Cummins and and Allison trans. It will be bagged and dropped to the ground. Can someone photoshop it back to school bus yellow with the black ribs on the side, and put it on the ground with these wheels on it? Much appriciated. In the front behind the front fender, Im going to cut that off so it lays on the ground.

Keep in mind that the height of the front tires will limit the amount of real-world drop you can get.

  23. Which is probably closer to this with the bags empty and parked....

That will be the biggest challenge, I am changing to 225 19.5 tires, so that will give me another 3 inches. I am putting the front air ride and spindles on the chassis this weekend to see how it will do....
