47 ford bumpers on a 40 ford

Hey guys,

I picked up an older rodders journal with lee pratts, 40 ford coupe in it today, I love the look of the 47 bumpers on a 40 ford.

Anyone know how hard it would be to adapt them? To my 40 ford Tudor? Would it just be a matter of changing the bumper irons to suit the 47 bumper?

Any ideas?

It's not too easy over here in Australia to just pick one up too see.

I'm using some. Not a bolt-on obviously, but easy enough with some modified and/or fabbed brackets.

 

Cheers! Now to hopefully locate some bumpers here so I don't have to give a kidney for shipping some from the states.
