I'm not one to pick up a book and read for entertainment/knowledge but my fiancé is in law school and seeing her lost in books constantly encourages me to pick up some books of my own. I'm looking for anything that has helped you in the build process or general understanding of certain aspects of your build whether it be wiring, steering angles or all the way to rear end setup and frame building. Also, any books on traditional styled hot rods and the culture involved. Thanks for any suggestions.

There are a bunch of good books on the various subjects! A good one for understanding how to build stuff, is the old Ron Fournier Metal Fabricator's Handbook.
