Wow...your car is really looking good....your welding skills will get better over time, (we all learn by practice and more practice) but I think you are doing a great job...the 'look' is going to be awesome I'm sure!...love 'period' cars big-time...thanks for the pic-thread man!:)

I really like how your using and making what you have. $$$ can be a BIG setback when doing this kind of a project. Glad your still moving forward. I really didn't like the new format either but I've adapted because of what this site has to offer.

  14. Well Wideglide I think I could learn to live with "Mostly traditional"

  18. Looks good so far, how did the firewall flip go? Can't quite make the details out in the photos, just curious.

The flip was very easy. Just drilled out spot welds and a couple relief cuts. I left it loose for most the build. It was pretty convenient to pop it out for various reasons. This is the only photo I could find.

Can't have too many Model A coupe HOT RODS!! ( I've had three).

Now that you've flipped the firewall, are you going to cut the bottom off at the bend and reverse that too? What about that center "well"?

    Keep up the good work!

The car is pretty much done (other than the chop & interior). Those are old pix. You can see some of it here:

Those turn signals are killer! What are they off of? They fit the style of the car so well! Subscribed!

They're stock cowl lights for my body style. They sell them. I set them up as blinkers, but I think they were just running lights back then.
