I originally thought the same (dog was smart and sitting in the shade.) Looking at it again, I can now see it. Picture also looks clearer for some reason the second time looking.

Real taxis. It would be nice if someone could bring back this body style.

This photo was taken in Spring Lake, NJ. A very popular vacation spot on the New Jersey Shore. That huge building in the background is the Essex & Sussex Hotel. It is located on Ocean Avenue. My Aunt and Uncle used to manage it back in the 1960s. All hotels in Spring Lake were only allowed to operate between Memorial Day and Labor Day, closed the remainder of the year. The purpose was to discourage vagrancy in what was (and still is, for the most part) an affluent seaside town. The hotel is now a year round condo, catering to senior citizens, at a high price tag.

It's either the worlds' first AWB race car or the prototype for all those new generation
    "gassers".

  25. I see that it is a tow vehicle. Maybe they have a setup that they can extend the front end in order to distribute the weight so as to be able to tow really heavy loads?

I thought it was the first lowrider. Does it have a chrome chain steering wheel?
