This old coupe was stolen recently from a storage facility, this car was built many years ago and a reward is offered. If you have seen it or have any information please contact the Pickens County Sheriffs department,Pickens,South Carolina.HRP
What in the hell is up in S.C. ? Theres been several posts lately with cars and trailers with cars in them being stolen.
Doesn't appear to be something that would easily "blend in" anywhere. Probably getting pieced out? Hope they get it back.
thieves suck.. I hope they get it back. looks hard to hide, neat car. maybe a list of the drivetrain components would help so we can watch CL for the engine/trans etc
Beat me to it Danny, Saw that a bit ago and was going to post it here. I hope they find the bastards.
Yeah Harry,Brenda sent me the photo's and I thought the Hamb would have a lot more eyes open. I'll try to get some more information,I don't know the owners personally but know the guys grandfather originally built the car then it was his father's until he passed away in 2014. The sentimental can't be replaced.HRP
Thieving bastards are everywhere....there's been a spate of recent thefts of early campers and 50,s pick ups around Kent in south east England.......hope the owners get the coupe back
I said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it a hundred more times - I HATE THIEVES ! Friggin' scumbags should have fingers smashed with a hammer ... Just sayin'
Seems odd to steal something so distinctive, and not eaily flipped into cash. Either they wanted that particular car, or they are savvy enough to part it out quickly. Sad either way. Hanging is too good for theiving bastards.
I know this migth be taken the wrong ways. Hamb is good, but I would plea to post this on FB, instagram, that thing with the bird in the logo etc. The more places the better. I know a lot of you ain't on anything the the HAMB, but them who are needs to step up and help. This is important! Find that wonderful rod!! And beautiful.
The vermin have not just stolen a car, they stole history. I hope they choke on their cornflakes, and die an agonising death.
I hate thieves with a passion and hopefully that one wasn't stolen by someone deciding that that long siting coupe would make the the perfect basis for a hot rod if they got rid of all the easily identified pieces.
+ 1. But I'd prefer a bookbinder's guillotine over a hammer. The thieves had better pray the cops find them before the angry mob does.
