  8. I was thinking about who ever stole the banner and it's my bet he is not a HAMB member. So we all will just have to keep our eyes open for it to turn up in some ass holes garage.

    Thanks for the pics

  11. Yes, please, everyone keep their eyes open to see if we can locate either banner. The smaller one may be a bit tougher to see, but it's gonna be pretty hard to hide a 40ft banner. The point is that neither banner needs to be hidden. Both banners can be returned anonymously with no questions asked. If whoever has them is local, they can drop them off at the Shipley Arena with no questions asked. If whoever has them is not local, they can mail them back, again with no questions asked. It can't get any easier than that to return them and, if they do, it will be nothing more than a harmless prank. If they don't, well, they'll have to live with themselves knowing they are nothing but a low-life thief. That's not a tough choice to make, either.

Dino64, I'm hopeful you're right on both counts. Of course, they cud avoid the latter just by returning the banners anonymously.

Actually, I believe there was a choice between Hemis and Big Block Chevy Rat motors. I have seen a hell of a lot of them with those too.

  24. Hobo Jim, mark it on the calendar now; each in the garage, house, and work. You've got nine months to plan for it, so schedule any days off needed now. Make sure to let your hot rod buddies in your area know, too. Hope to see you there.:)

Hey Joe thank you for posting the picture of Jeff Crockett driving his black fenderless flathead powered 29 Model A into the Jalopyrama. He is a friend that I caught up with that weekend. Little did I know it would be the last time I'd see him. Jeff passed away the first week of January from cancer. He will be missed.....

  29. Unfortunately, no. I hope the dorks that took it enjoy it, becuz they have had ample opportunities to return it with no questions asked. Maybe they'll rehang it for this year's show.:)
