Just a note of thanks to all the local rodders who made Greg, his daughter and myself so welcome when bringing the car back to Cotton's this past weekend! Your hospitality was surely appreciated. Also, a special thanks to Bob Knaack for allowing me to ride shotgun in his chopped coupe all day! Best weekend in a LONG time!! Mark Mazur

  5. Both my Father and I would be glad to work on the 2 cars to put them "right" again :) Can't think of a better place than my shop for such a project....

Great proportions. The chassis has some sprint car inspiration. Was Cotton into race car fab?

Bitch'n. I remember that car vividly from R&C, and seeing it at the Street Rod Nationals in St Paul.

Bringing this back up because I just got reminded of Cotton AND because this story, the car, the thread itself...is just so damn cool! ;)

  10. For those that are interested...

This years T-Bucket Nationals are in Indianapolis in June. It's looking like Greg hall might bring BOTH my Fathers Ardun powered T and Bob Knaack's T to the event. It's also looking like I'll be bringing my own Ardun powered T as well.......Stay tuned :)

  11. It's not much, but I know who Cotton got those Ardun heads from, back in the day...

  15. A man named H. Robert Keith, who, himself built a killer '39 that made a couple mags back in the '80's. I have lost track of Bob, and no longer live in Illinois.

One of my favorite cars from the mags I used to drool over! I kind of hope fat tires all around come back in style, I always thought the Goodyear Blue Streaks looked great on this car. Thanks for posting this up!
