My dad was in town over Thanksgiving and it was ready!!!! We took it for a ride, Tom hadn't even driven it yet. Ran well so we took it home. Dad got his 3 deuces and open pipes.

Going for interior soon, I am from Yuma Arizona so I have the obligatory temporary seat. Rotten Leonard tank in the back.

Not sure what the taillights were from, Tom has had them for 30 years. Tires are the radials that look like bias plys. It is quick and runs well. Fuel to all 3 carbs, they are good now, I need to learn how to tune them though. Tom also had the chrome reverse wheels in the rear, they are old too. I ordered multi lug fronts, for now. Bubba did the distributor. The only part I did - the rear - has a leaky seal but otherwise is ok.

  9. To show you how good Tom's work is, we did the Blanket Run Dec 5th. It was 27 Degrees and Foggy. Scott and his son, Nick drove the RPU to the event. Freezing Fog, ice on the windshield and no wipers, no heat and still no seat. They drove somewhere around 120 miles. That's a Hotrodder...!

  11. Buy the way: MEYER's RPU won "Best Hotrod" at the Blanket Run. Congrat's Scott.. :)

This looks great, I can't believe I haven't seen this build thread until now, I must have missed it around Christmas time. This has a lot in common with my '26. I look forward to seeing what you do with the interior.
