Finally, the best view of a '40....

 

This belongs to Johns rod and custom in Melbourne Australia, really cool car, I went really close to buying this car at one stage. Here are some photos I have of it.

 

Sorry but this is as far as I've gotten with my 40!

Here are a couple of my older Brother's 40's from 1960. The black coupe was bought from our neighbor for 50 bucks. The custom convert was all lead, Packard Grille, sectioned 49 Chevy hood and Lincoln headlights. Great workmanship, but lacking in design, like many from that era.

i.rant & Moriarity, you folks certainly have my sympathy, but I'll likely be driving my tudor over to my daughter's house to watch the grandson's open their gifts on Christmas morning. One of the benefits of living in AZ.

Mine is just resting, waiting for my heads to be finished after blowing a head gasket. Hope to be back on the road over the weekend.

 

We have been lucky so far here in Maryland too as temps have been very mild for th is time of year. I'm getting some extended cruising in before it goes into the body shop for repairs. My wife and I ran up to a little town called Havre De Grace last weekend to do some shopping and dinner.

 

What a pretty town! I went to college in Annapolis for two years, but never discovered Havre de Grace.
