I am running a 57' 365 ci Cadillac motor in my '34 Ford truck project. I have already aquired an edelbrock 4 duece intake for it.
My delima is that a family member just aquired a complete 6-71 blower setup for a sbc. including the carbs. I can get it all for dirt cheap. I know that I will have to fab up an idler pulley bracket if I use the setup.

    1. Did someone make a 6-71 blower manifold for this engine

    2. If they did, would I be able to aquire one w/o an arm or leg

    3. Would it be feasible to fab up an intake or would it just be a waste of time? I AM confident of my fab skills if that helps.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

I don't think anyone made a Cad manifold to take the 6-71, but I have seen manifolds that would take a 4-71. That 4 carb manifold would look great on your Cad-powered rod. When those 4-71 manifolds do come up (on ebay) they go for $1500 and up, and they are rarely available.

Anyone else? Kirk really wants to run this on his Caddy. Another question we were asking each other is how nuch carb? Run 3 or 4 2 dueces? Or keep the 2 4's on it?

You will also need to change your cam to run the blower, but I am sure you already know that, just my two cents.

I would be interesetd in the SBC blower manifold if you are not going to use it, or the whole package if you decide not to run it.

'Seems if all else fails, the Edelbrock + a milling machine + some aluminum plate + a tig welder would get you there.

Early Caddy performance stuff is shure hard to get. Sometimes I wonder if its worth it. But they shure are pretty.

Hi Ron,do you have a use for the 4-71 Cad manifold? George Montgomery modified a 'few' Cragar 4-71's by welding an additional cast piece with his name to the front.Cheers,Squeak.

Hi,just to let you know I am making Cad 6-71 intakes new. It is patterned off an original Montgomery modifed Cragar 4-71 as used on his Willys Coupe. Cheers,Squeak.

I also have a Cragar to mount a 4-71 blower on an early Cad.

I only know of McAFEE or Cragar 4-71 intakes from back then.
