I'm back at it, how about you?

Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

  2. Just spent all my spare time over last two days reading this. Very cool stuff.
Would love to see your neighbours faces, when you get that Cad mill fired up.
Now you have a new fan, any chance of an update?

A late joiner to your postings on the rusty 40 Ford coupe. I have read this front to back and back to front a few times. I really appreciate your time and effort to post your work, your methods and your ingenuity. I read the postings on the green 1940 Ford coupe as well from end to end. I have done some body repairs and paint work over the years to keep my cars on the road for the good of the family. Observing your work arounds and solutions to get results by avoiding a catalog solution is great.
Thank you for showing your good work and look forward to what ever direction you take next.
    Glenn

    Hey guys!
    Long time...
You'd think by now this would be a runner,
    but it's still a project.
    It's gotten much smoother,
did almost all patch panels other than rear deck lid.
Looking back I'm trying to remember doing all this...
Pretty much the lower 4" was replaced all around.
I found a hood from Hop Up Justin,
    and pied it a bit,
which meant stretching it out as well.
The amount of time I spent on the hood,
probably could have got the car running...

Someone described this to me in a pm, "40, cad motor, headers through the hood, chopped, pie-cut hood" my first thought was "oh great, some fool ruined a '40" But man, it actually really works! Cool! I like it! Normally a 4" chop and laid back windshield on a '40 would be a huge mistake, but it really fits here. Very cool!

Those two cars with the same address is really cool. I never get tired of looking at them. The kids are getting big.
