I'd lean towards black or body color rims with lug nuts chromed only on that 'binder.

I'll admit it doesn't look that great. Those are the radials that came on the truck, it looks like you put the chrome and WW's on the original tires. I'm going to use bias plys and go bigger sizes to fill the wheel openings a bit more. Thanks for the pics!

  8. IMG_1659.JPG IMG_1859.JPG Will someone please do a complete color flip for me on "Ruby"?
Please show me a semi-satin black body with a red flaked roof and the wheels that are on her in chrome with the spider caps staying on. If you want to have some fun add some red & white pin striping……. Thanks.
As always, I really appreciate your time and talent!

  10. Thanks Moose! Amazes me how much it changes the whole feel of the car. Nice pin stripes by the way. ;) If you don't mind, will you please, red flake the wheels (to match the roof) and add the spider caps? Thanks again, she looks a little "meaner" in black……..

DING, DING, DING. That looks awesome!!!!!! Fyi if you go chrome wheels and chrome lug nuts before you order chrome lug nuts double check the rights side. If memory serves me correct they are left hand thread.

  13. Thanks Moose! You just made my day! I can honestly say I'm over the whole "black with red wheels " thingy. We're going to keep the black over red. Might just add a little flake for "pop".
Thanks again for your time !

Can I see my car with roof left gloss, belt trim installed and satin purple on the bottom?

I agree. This combo has been the most attractive of what's been offered...as an end result of course, not the creative effort!

Anyone willing to show me what my roadster would look like with the windshield removed, white tonnal cover added , and an aluminum hood added. Pipes still sticking out the hood sides. Many thanks.

A friend has a similar year T-Bird. I like the Wagon concept idea. With the long trunk lines on the back of these cars, I also think they could make a cool Ranchero type build.

I have had this car for many years and am now rebuilding it from the ground up for my son. (He turns 16 in Jan.) We are now debating color. I definitely do not really want it yellow again. Im thinking a dark plumb color or a dark red. Could someone help me out with some visual help? Ill probably have to keep the wheels but if you feel compelled to change that go for it. White suspension and top can also be an option. Thanks in advance!
