  16. How did you decide whether to adjust the gap on the fender or the hood? I noticed you did it different on each side.

    The gap on the right was almost 1/2" near the cowl so I moved the fender edge in. The gaps get tighter near the front so I narrowed the hood. I'm about to do the same to the front of the right.

    This job is waiting for me at some point,but i guess i'll pass the fender welding to the body.
    Just to make maintenance easier,if i have to remove the fenders/merc surround combo for some reason.

    image.jpeg The door is now gapped properly after lots of cutting and welding. The door corners are also rounded.

    Top is still in the paint shop and I'm busting ass trying to save $ to paint the rest. I'm doing another kitchen reno and then I'll be back on it. Thanks for checking in.
