Hot Rods 22 Dodge Coupe - Day2 - the begining

excitement abounds !!

dragged this old '22 Dodge coupe - minus the rear - home yesterday... hoping a quick buff might do it,,
its a start .. and wee bit different from the norm....

be interested to see if any other Hambers have one , and whats in them ..

and any thoughts.. Ive got a plan ,, open to suggestions ,,

find the bits to build a fenderless coupe

 

yep that's it,, theres a lot of floor to rebuild, so extra for the rear is only as tricky as lack measurements..

if anyone can help with that that'd be very cool ...

 

haven't been here for a while ,, so heres a few (slow ! )progress pics

have since sold the original running gear to a restorer for the $300 that I original paid for it... ( he rung my mobile about 6 weeks later) and left me a message -- as promised -- that original old motor he'd got started and running,.... so cool

cleaned the old paint off the tub

70's mini roof . trunk lid -- dimensionally correct --

then some lower A pillar repairs have now got most of this rusty side done ... more pics to come ..

 

hoping someone out there could post a couple of pictures of the trunk area of a roadster or coupe from 22 -25 ,, preferably with the lid open ..

really like to get a close representation of the body
