Projects new to me 50 merc

Just bought a 9 tooth desoto grille! Not sure what the plan is with it yet, but couldn't pass it up.

 

how is this for laid out? Just re did you he rear bags

Thanks, but the the guy before me modified the lights and frenched them at a 30° angle. Not sure if ill keep them that way. They are growing on me though. I'll get a pic tomorrow. Not going stock no matter what. I thought you already had bags on the car

Are you going to change the bumpers back to chrome?

 

Im not much of a chrome kinda guy. I will probably have to get a new rear bumper anyways but they will more than likely get painted again

50s cars need chrome bumpers. A new front bumper sure helped the look of my 50 ford.

 

If you must paint 'em try silver.

 

Not to be critical here at all but the red highlights are really grabbing the eye and taking the flow of the car and giving it a circus sort of vibe.Im only saying this cause im far enough away that it wont be easy for you to kick my ass .Also ,if you get some vibrations ,look to the semi solid motor mounts.Nice car!!
