We were at the Shelby's Hot Rod Get Together in Lexington this past summer in our '33 Pickup. A great event for a great cause. This truck was bought in 1961 by my dad for $150. Fixed in mid '60's. Added wheels/tires a few yrs back.

1.PNG 2.PNG 3.PNG 4.PNG This was a dream car I wanted as a kid . Seen one of these at the St Louis gateway international raceway mid 70s with my dad. To this date I can see the car in my head but never able to find and pictures of it. Lol the car was green and had super pickle painted on it. Here's a few not so good shots of mine. This has been my 13 year labor of love... With the kids raised it was finally my turn to jump back on this. Well this is the second year on the road and countless miles later. 2 trips to hullabaloo in fact. The body is 90% complete and about to be blown apart to finish and paint this winter ( if time allows) . The interior is lacking quite a bit and hopefully a trip to Shepardsville ( hint hint ) in the near future... The car is a 1953 Ford Anglia with the stock body. The chassis is a tube chassis. There's a blown 400 Chevy that I purchased used but have no idea what's in it . It has run so well over the past 2 yrs.
I hope you all enjoy checking it out and thank you for letting me enter .

Mark I would like to finish this with saying that your strength and endless hours doing this has touch so many. God bless you your family and all that support your cause...

I'd like to support your message with my 1933 Chrysler Imperial. Powered by a supercharged 392 Hemi driving a Dodge 518 AOD transmission and a Dana 60 rear end, its All MOPAR. Your effort to create awareness for suicide prevention is to be applauded. Hopefully you can feel some peace by reaching out to others with this message.

  25. I want to Thank everyone that participated in this years Shelby's Hot Rod Roundup HAMB 2015 Pick.I am so happy that I don't have to vote on or pick these final 4 cars (I have a panel of great guys that loan me their time to make their picks) because for me I want everyone to be picked, but the best thing is that their is next years 2016 Pick.I have also been sharing all the entries on FB.The Roundup is a great way for our non-profit Shelby's Way to increase awareness and grow more advocates for Shelby's Way and all we do.You can visit www.shelbysway.com and see how we help folks not only emotionally, but also financially.
This years picks will be announce in a new thread today.Thank You guys so much and much Love to you all.
