Who is hank 3? If you are regering to Hank William III, I most say he is good! Actually he is so good he deserves to have his full name on.
But my music taste is more to listen to Hank Williams Sr.
And in the voice of Johnny cash some of them gets better.

Is there a reason why Hank William III wasn't on the lost notebook?

    I know I'm weird.

Any picture progress on the car?

  2. You know Brooklyn I wish there were More Lady's like you, got the looks and aren't afraid of jumping in there and doing it too it. Sounds like things are coming along great, and by the way us guys sit on the Milk Crate some too, so don't let them tell you any different. Keep your chin up I have had my Willys for 25 years and it finally rolls in and out of the shop on it own. As they say if the money flow so does the project and the project always flow when the money is there. Keep up the great work. ;)

Johnny Horton had quite a few tunes other than "Ballad of New Orleans"; Marty Robbins has quite a catalog, and Bobby Bare too. Great singers all.

I guess it depends on the type of driving you do. Having an older car has its advantages but if you do a lot of long distance driving I'd vote for getting something a bit more reliable and cost effective in terms of gas, but local running would make the Buick the sh$t!

Go lease one of them throwaway little econoboxes for $129 a month and get the ole' girl up roadworthy with all the $ you save in fuel !
I've got a 46 coupe I'm looking to make into a daily but I bought a new Harley and well you know how that goes...

  6. digging the blue top Girl!. it always such a good feeling to sit back and look at your ride when it goes from worn and few different colors too one solid color. Primer or not it always feels like progress. Spray cans are actually motivation in a can.... looking real good! let me know when you need the tri-power or dual quad for your nailhead! makes um sound viscous!

I don't have a job because they suck but have driven old cars when I did have a job. 2 of my favorites and always dependable were a 59 Belair and a 62 Chevy ll 4 banger. Right now I am building a 40 Ford tonner panel for a daily. 4x4 diesel. Also have a roached out but straight and complete 62 Ranchero setting out back I might get to for a little shop truck. And always drive the rpu when weather permits. Oh, and then there's the 56 Sedan DeVille, should have it up by spring, don't need much.
So, if you do drive old crap, it's best to always have a backup.

But this is my actual daily driver... Just started a v8 swap on it after the 6inline went out on me... And like everyone mentioned electrical and brakes, can't go wrong there...

Haven't really put any more thought into it recently. Decided to save up some cash once I can stop it from rolling out as fast as I make it and find a shop here to replace all of the glass at once...would save me the headache...

Have never been, looks cold lol. Only part of Canada I've been too is Niagara Falls and we all know that doesn't count hahaha...

  24. I located my door glass first and had my glass guy take that back to his shop to set into the channels.

He struck out on the windshield, so I found one and he came over to install it at the house.

Yup. That is NOT the way to lower a car.

Cutting coils is FAR better, if thete is no commercially available lowering coil.
