Do I have to chop the 30 model grill to run a full hood on 32 rails? Or will a 32 grill fit? What mods are necessary? Ive built 67-72 Chevys and this is new to me. Thanks.

  2. I just put a 32 radiator and grille shell on my 31 Ford roadster on 32 rails. I lowered the shell and ordered a 2" shorter radiator to keep everything looking right. I'm running a flathead.

32 wheelbase is 2.5 inches longer than model A. If you center year wheels in wells of A hood will need to be 2.5 inches longer

I have done several 30/31 bodies on deuce rails with a deuce shell and have always used a 2 inch shortened Walker deuce radiator as stated above so everything lines up.

Thanks for the replies. Has anyone used a 30 grill with hood you know of?
