Fiat 1200

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by Leon Sandcastle, Nov 23, 2015.

  1. I have a friend who got ahold of a 1962 Fiat 1200 four door shell, only rust is a spot the size of a dime and he is looking at building a drag car put of it. I can't seem to find any pictures of any. Any info or pictures would be greatly appreciated. Like I said it's a shell only.

then it has to be a Neckar-Fiat, a co-operation between NSU and Fiat for a few models in the 60's

  6. I'm more interested in examples used in racing. Like I said, just wanted to help him with finding examples for his idea. I appreciate all the imput, if anyone finds images, I'd love to see them. Thanks to all.

  7. Yeah, come on guys, these must have been real common race cars BITD.

I see a BBC in his future! Or maybe a double chamber turbo rotary?

  9. In all seriousness, as a Fiat, it's too new to expect the body let alone the car to have been used as a race car. Given the size of the universe, maybe, just maybe someone used one, but I'd say you're on your own.
