    OK, another website is identifying this as an Olds but my head keeps telling me it's not. Is the website wrong or is it all in my head? I have faith in you guys to straighten me out.

    Yes, that is an air cooled Franklin from around 1929 or so. Bob

    Judging from pictures on the interweb you guys even have the year down, 1929. Thanks, I'm happy that it wasn't all in my head. It just didn't look like an Olds to me but I just couldn't put my finger on what it was.

    There was an advertisement back in the 1970's that featured a Franklin and the good looking girl that owned it. I cannot remember what they were selling but I remember the car and the girl. :)
