So, I made this movie about The Rolling Bones Hot Rod Shop driving their hot rods from New York to Utah. . . then racing them at the Bonneville Salt Flats. If you've seen my other film, THE ROAD TO BONNEVILLE, then you'll get the idea that this is the ramped up sequel to that movie with better production value, more cars, more racing, and what most people will consider to be better music. Well, the DVDs are in stock and I've been shipping out the pre-orders. So, if you've been waiting to get your order in. . . wait no more. www.AtomicHotRods.com
Thanks, it's a labor of love. I hope to leave a record of what's going on today in the world of Hot Rods and Customs for future generations to look back on. Dick Deluna's '34 5W coupe (a.k.a. "The Salinas Special"):
I made these little "lobby card" style graphics for the movie. . . figured I'd share until you guys got sick of looking at them:
Man, I have all this pent up anticipation for these movies to come out, I get it in my hot little hands and watch it immediately and then the wait begins again. Which reminds me, what's the subject of your next movie? Seriously though, another great one for the collection. I was a little nervous cause you've already done a rolling bones movie and maybe this would be repetitive content but it was a nice update on where they're at and how they've progressed at Bonneville. Johnny, I'm glad you liked it. THREE MILE is more of a sequel to THE ROAD TO BONNEVILLE than a re-boot. More cars, different cars, different motors, broken records this time around, etc . . . The response has been nothing but positive so far. Thanks to everyone who's supported it so far!
