lil over due update: Didnt like the way the frame and the body meet in the rear of the car, frame sat back under too far. Dont have a pic with the body back on yet, doing some other frame work while its off. Thanks for looking

Alot cheaper than Eastwood!!!! by the time you scrounge up the pieces, spend the money, energy and time making them your better off just buying them trust me> Alliance discount too, I think Call Alex. To be honest I did not like the car in the early pic's , I think it was the stance. But now I'M really likeing it alot. Really nice work.
You know this is a classic example of how terribly wrong things can go when a builder has commitment, dedication, creativity, skill and a little talent. tsk, tsk, tsk I wanna see that frame finished out. You should send randy some pics of the finished fit, too.

Those panel clamps can be had from Harbor Freight for only a few bucks. Seems they sell so many that they get out of stock from time to time. So if you dont see any, just call back on your next visit and check again.

Wow!, how the time gets away from us sometimes. Had to take a job out of state and was unable to get any work done on this project for awhile, a long while, lol. Well any way, It was nice to be home for the holidays and get a little more accomplished. Cut up a perfectly good 50 ford dash: got the rear cage made: Taz says lets get this thing on the road: hopefully more to come.

I'm really getting a lot out of your build photos, keep them coming! Car looks good, too, of course. Gary Forgot to add, loved your steering wheel mockup. I made one for my 37 sedan build using PVC pipe and a pizza pan. Very useful for finalizing the seats, pedals, steering, eh? Gary
went to the pick a part and found these seats out of a kia rio, I was trying to find a narrower seat, these measure 20" across and were in really good shape for 17 bones each. I think i can make them work.
back seat mocked up, out of a suzuki sidekick, just had to trim the bottom cushion a tad. built a back shelf for upholstery. Seat flips down so i have access to fuel tank: seems like its all taking forever. Dave L.

Well i started this thread in (wow) 2007, well finally got the most of the car done...still need upholstery. I know some of it is not in accordance with HAMB standards, but hey here it is... Thanks for all who supported the build. Dave
That dash is killer, looks great. I like the wheel and tire combo, tail light placement really fits. Overall, one good looking build.
That turned out great! I like the stance and especially the tire / wheel combo. It's refreshing to see a little rubber on the rear.
I installed a popper on the doors, use a key fob to open, and a hidden safety latch (just in case). I am thinking the rear tires are a bit wide, thinking of going to the 12.5. Thanks all for positive feedback.
