No surprise that the SBC is the highest percentage so far, and since it's here in HAMB land the flathead Ford is 2nd. What I always enjoy reading is how the SBCs in early Ford hot rods draws a lot of attention, and not always polite attention, from the Ford in a Ford camp. However, drop a nailhead, Cadillac, early HEMI or Olds in there those same folk will nearly offer a tug for the engine choice. Not as bad as it used to be for sure, but still there and always fun to read.

MerCruiser 470/488(of course some 'twit' is going to say that "It counts as 1/2 of a #385 family Ford motor!"), & NO, a Y-Block Lincoln is NOT in the M-E-L listing ; if anything it's more closely related to Y-Block Fords(kinda like saying that 348 Chebbies are in the 350 family!!)LOL!!!!
