Bumping this back up, because I'm thinking about this for my '52 Plymouth club coupe. I was going to chop the roof anyway, but never quite loved the boxy roof of the 49-52 Plymouths. Chopping often just makes a shorter box. I was thinking something with more of a rounded crown. I have access to a '50 Chevy that's rotted from the bottom up, but the roof is pretty decent. With the chop and repositioning of the B pillar, I think it would fit nicely style-wise. I suppose I'll just have to spend a while with a tape measure to make sure it will physically fit. Here's a quickie photochop I did using a pic of a chopped '50 chevy and a stock Plymouth. I left the stock Plymouth roof in the background for comparison. I think it looks dead righteous. Anyone else ever do a swap similar to this?
