So not to be presumptuous, but what's after the top? I can't wait!

Lol, round the hood corners and gap it well. Then full body paint. There is also a long list of mechanical things I would like to change.

Thanks, it will be a light metalic green. That may not be permanent though.

image.jpg Found a little area in the gutter that was soft so I fixed that. I have had a hard time finding anyone local to blast this thing properly. I mentioned it to my friend who owns a body shop and he was having the same problem. Two weeks later he bought the entire setup so it will be going there for prep, body and paint. BRENT was going to paint it but it is way too cold now.

I'm going to wrap up the rear bodywork and prepare the car for a fresh coat of the same black paint as before. It's not done but I want it to look good for a little while. Then I can put it all back together. It will be going back to the Detroit autorama in March so that's my deadline.
It runs pretty well, just a little rich at times. I have smaller power valves in but it's still a problem in cold weather.

It's been a treat watching the progress, and even more so meeting and getting to know you (a little). While recovering from hip replacement last week, it's fun seeing you make progress on your car, as I can't do anything on any of mine for awhile. Looking forward to seeing it in Detroit.

You too Brian. I'm waiting for my ride to the body shop with the roof as we speak. Are you bringing one of your cars to Detroit this year?

Will the top be finished with a conventional headliner (bows)?

  25. Whew! At first when I looked at it I thought to myself that sure was some splotchy purple paint.
