Hello hamb i was wondering if anyone has a cutout or the issue of the year 2000 OR 1999 of STREET RODDER MAGAZINE because i am looking for a article of my dads 1946 ford/mercury body with a ford front end it would be in the fat attack! Article anything would be helpful! Thanks! Ps il post a picture of the car

Surely your dads car is not in every monthly magazine 2000 or 1999..What month was it in???

Is it a feature article, or in event coverage? I have every issue 1999/2000, just looked quickly, cant find this car.

I also went through all of them, 2 years worth and did not find it...

 

Sorry its in the 2001 fat attack in ONE OF THE MONTHS I DO NOT KNOW WICH MONTH ITS IN

 

I don't think I have all of 2001, but I will take a look tomorrow.

 

The only Fat Attack issue I remember was Hot Rod July '85. Fat Jack's coupe was on the cover along with the blue 40 of Pete Chapouris.

 

Street Rodder used to do those '4-pack" features, they would do 1-2 "fat attack" or "fat fendered" ones a year.

 

I might have it. I'll look this weekend.

 

I looked up 2001 and haven't found it there either. falcongeorge is right, they used it for several years but not every issue.

 

Thats odd the plack says 2001 in our shop

I've got almost every issue from the beginning, and can't give them away.

Good idea. I betting the plaque is for the Street Rodder pick for the " fat attack" area of an NSRA, Goodguys, or similar event. Picture is probably in the Street Scene or Gazette coverage of the event.
