Folks Of Interest Yorgatron RIP

My dear friend George passed away at 2.30am this morning following a massive stroke last Friday night.

 

RIP and enjoy the most excellent roads, George.

 

I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm sure he's in a better place now.

 

Thank you for the update Dave. He was one of the more unique and genuine people I have met through the HAMB.

I know you guys we close friends but take comfort in knowing that he past away without long term suffering.

Very sad news. He was a wild a guy. He was one of the first members on here back in the early days of this place. We butted heads a few times back then. But he was a cool cat...

 

Damn I hate to hear this, Yorgatron was alright. I have always watched for his posts.

One of the originals, I have not been up here in a long time but sure wish this was not why I was checking in! I met "Yorgatron" on the old board years back, ended up becoming fast friends. An honest, no BS guy and man I will miss him.

One of the originals. Sorry for your (and our) loss. I always appreciated his insights.

 

Many years ago when I was building my '29 Model A Roadster, George and his brother drove up in the old Hudson many times, just to help out during 'thrash weekends'- At that point we had only 'met' on the HAMB, but they jumped right in. He was so funny, opinionated, grumpy, kind, hilarious, and genuine- All at the same time. God Bless Yorgatron!!

 

That is sad news, I also remember him from the old days, as well as meeting him in person when I lived in CA. He brought some good discussion and knowledge around the old HAMB.

 

Only know him by his posts, but there was some very useful info there. RIP Yorgatron, you will be missed.
