Jack just emailed me that the dilapidated old barn that some of the stills were taken in front of went up in flames tonight! Damn I liked that location! Who know's maybe it's even cooler now, hope the firefighters are all okay and the property owner didn't lose much, it didn't look like the barn was storing anything when we were there though.

Firefighters are still there, talked to the land owner don't know what started the fire but is all gone. Told him if nothing else we had some good pics of the barn. Had 7 fire trucks out here, total loss. Whatta a shame, was so kool.

Jack and Travis, Thanks for the neat video and stills of the neat Y-Block Powered Roadster ! Kind of strikes close to home. My '31 "A" Coupe is being worked on right now. Kind of part of a trade deal to get the "A" completed. Mill is a '57 ECZ block with '58 heads out of a Interceptor Boats cabin cruiser. This is the one with the low profile intake with two Carter side draft carbs. Lots of aluminum on the motor. Front cover, valley pan, intake and oil pan. Also came with Mallory dual point dist. Think it will make a neat mid to late '50s Hot Rod . . . .

Hey Dave, my roadster is flathead powered, my Model a coupe is running the y-block. Sounds like you have a kool build going on, good luck with it, y-blocks are kool and sound great.

I've made a bunch of improvements to the video but my site keeps rejecting it after a 2 hour upload so someday maybe I can share it haha.

Thanks again Jack I learned a lot working on this piece!

I think the wife and I will be down there looking around sometime. Probably Saturday so I will keep an eye out for you. Once again thanks for keeping that cool ol' car going. It sure seems to be in good hands.
