I have some used M/T 315/60R15 drag radials for $150 for sale. They have about 15 passes on them. If you are interested. 30" Dia. 13.5" wide.

  3. Try Diamond back tires. They got a site.

Also may try towel city tires they also got a site.

I think you can search for a tire size calculator. Not sure though.

  8. It's hard to find now:(

This tire is a tuck size tire (30" + x 10 wide) and its going to come with a truck tread - on/off road or even more aggressive tread.

  10. You'd think there would be a market for the now discontinued "sport truck TA" tires. But that's probably why they quit making them.

I'm looking for something for my RPU too. The tucked in bed on these things makes any 7.50/16 or even 275/70/16 look too small. I wish some company would make a 32-33" tall x 8-9" wide tire. Heck I might even run a radial if it looked trad. yeah, no help, but I'm with ya'.

Tanner, I have BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A 265/75/15''s on mine. Chart shows they are 30.7" tall. Been very pleased with them.

  17. Looks great to me. That's a sweet looking 5-window.

  18. I have 265/75R15 on my OT van. Fills up the wheelwell pretty nice. Firestone makes them in a snow and an all season variant.

The snows are ridiculous, I purposely tried to break them loose and couldn't, even on ice they'd spin a little and catch.

I'm thinking about selling it so I can finish the Steel car like I've always wanted to do one......we'll see...it sure is fun to drive...4400 mile trip to LARS was a blast....don't need to sell it...that's the best situation to be in....it'll just take me longer to do the other car.

    Hi

Sorry to pick up on an old thread but I am really interested in the tyre size debate.
I just wanted to ask the people above who have put their rear tyre sizes on what size their front tyres are please.

I have a 32 lowboy roadster and have a set of 4 15 X 7 inch centreline 5star fluted wheels, in stock, well in the shed with several other sets of wheels. Anyway I was thinking about using 225 70 15's on the rear and 185 65 15 on the fronts. I know that I cant get away with 265's as mentioned above as I will be running 7" wheels so what are the usual tyre combos please?

Hence the interest in the front tyre sizes please.

    many thanks

    Benjamin

    Yep.....
Pretty hard to understand BFG's decision to drop them considering how hugely popular those tires were. They owned the market for hiboy rear tires for a long time.
Wish I had a warehouse full of them.

    Anyone know where 235 85 r16's are available.......especially load range D
    Or even 215 85 r16 in load range C or D

  23. Try Discount Tire Direct, they don't do the Firestone but others. Fair prices with FREE Frt. Or just call your local Firestone dealer.

But they were wanting to sell them to thousands of everyday cars that wear them out....a 100 Roadsters didn't fill their pockets.....figured Coker would come out with them.....probably wont fill his pocket either.........
