Thanks Adam. I remembered seeing it at Fremont on Gasser Files. Hope to see it, in black, soon. Post pics, if you can.

Does anyone have any other photos or any info on this car. This photo was supposed to be taken at US 30 Gary, It's in 1971 or 1972. Ran a HEMI with dual quads, it seems engine is set back a lot.

I don't seem to be able to find this thread with a search these days. Looks like Ryan has been working on it. Thanks. Hoping it gets fixed.
Here's one from the Beeline Dragway thread.

Hi All, I have a unrestored 1936 Holden Willy sedan. I purchased it off the original owner.
The paint has cracking as are the seat covers. What I would like to know is should I restore it back to original or can I hot rod it?
I don't want to destroy the car if there are limited numbers?
I have a collection of cars so I would enjoy having it standard or as a hot rod..
    Your advise is needed... Thanks.

Why not do both. A 4 cyl engine that fits without any cutting, a ford rear that's narrow enough to fit under the wheel wells, Ford has a 4- 1/2" bc on the wheels so does 5 bolt 38 to 41 Willys use the later Willys juice brakes and hubs and dare I say "voila" Mine at the NSRA street rod nats Tulsa OK around 1976 first week out drove from NY to OK and back.

My Dad's '36 ran a Ford 2300 cc Pinto engine with a C4 trans. I was young at the time, so I don't know the install details. I do remember it running fine.

(Before and after) This 35 Willys was built from a stocker by Greg Taylor "Mr. Pontiac". It ran a 421 Pontiac Engine and the racing pictures were taken at Half Moon Bay. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

33skippy: The glass nose on your sedan looks like it could have come from this old gasser from the New England area. Any history on it?
