I have been looking for a Shoe Box or Chevy Convert. I ended up talking to a good buddy who just started to build a 32 Ford 5-W after just completing his 32 Ford Roadster and needs the room so his 34 Ford 3-W that he has owned for over 40 years will have to go. This coupe has been a dependable summer driver for many years. I bought it on the spot, so the convert search will have to wait. All steel 3-W body unchopped, with Rumble seat. Filled Roof Recent N.O.S. steel front fenders installed. Fiber glass rear fenders, and Gas Tank Cover. Mustang ll style front suspension with tubular A frames, disc brakes. Nine Inch Ford Rear with Highway friendly 3:00 gears. 454 Cu In early 70s Corvette engine recent rebuild. Newer Walker Radiator. Chevrolet 400 Turbo Hydro Transmission. Decent Amateur installed interior, Leather seats & Rumble Seat.. Crank Out Windshield, Working Cowl Vent. Roll Down Rear Window Recent tinted Safety Glass All Around With Power Assisted Door Windows. Red Paint is a little tired and not show quality.
Hard to beat a three window. That will be a nice car to play with the wheel and tire combo and enjoy the torque of a big block.
So, lemme get this straight..........your buddy wanted to get rid of his 34 ford coupe so he can build a 32 ford coupe... I guess I'm one of those guys who looks at 32 fords as "stylized" model A's..not that there's anything wrong with model A's 'cept they'll never hold a candle to a 33-34 ford coupe's styling. But that's just my personal opinion and I'm happy for you. You scored big time! Congrats.
Nice 3W, looks like you made a good purchase, now you've joined the club of streetrod owners along with HRP.
